Backgrounds for Business Cards

I am trying a new venture this month – creating the backgrounds for business cards. This is a pretty easy extension of stock photography as many digital photos are very suitable for use as a business card with little modification. So far, I have created 30 different designs, and they can all be seen at www.PrintBusinessCards.com. On the site, you can see how my own stock photographs can create interesting backgrounds for business cards.

The only complexity for new photographers is that the format of the cards is specified in great detail and the color mode needs to be CMYK – you may need Photoshop to be able to work in that space, although there may be some free programs able to do so.

I am expecting to be paid $5 for each use of one of my designs – I will keep this site updated with my progress in this new venture!

March Earnings from selling my photographs

Filed under: Stock Photography — admin @ 11:40 am

March has been a great month – increased from an average of $120 per month to $240 this month! Sales were up across the board, although two $20 sales as CanStockPhoto really made the difference. This is a site that is easy to upload to, and, although not a regular earner, certainly helped this month.
Give stock photography a try – it is great fun. See this post for more information
